Preventing Teen Suicide

The questions to ask about whether or not your child may be at risk for suicide can be complicated. This short video asks and answers a few of those questions, but more importantly, demonstrates how to ask those questions-and keep asking-until you get answers that help you understand whether or not yoru child is at risk...and what to do about it. The video is provided by The Society for the Prevention of Teen Suicide (SPTS) which was started in 2006 by two fathers who had lost teenaged children to suicide. Feel free to visit their website at:

Ranch Hope Receives Grant for Language Arts Program


Ranch Hope has received a grant to fund a unique language arts program with students at Ranch Hope’s Strang School the week of March 21-24.
This program is made possible in part by funds from the New Jersey State Council on the Arts/Department of State, a Partner Agency of the National Endowment for the Arts, through the Salem County Board of Chosen Freeholders, and Salem County Cultural and Heritage Commission.
